Text & Multimedia Messaging *

Many Talk'n'Save regular phones* have text and multimedia messaging ability - they can send and receive SMS text and multimedia (sound, picture) messages using basic simple menu options (no need to go online, etc).

Customers can text message any cellular phone number in Israel, and almost any cellular phone abroad. Just like calls, text messages sent to numbers on the 052 Cellcom network are generally cheaper than those sent anywhere else. Packages are available on most plans for outgoing text messages. However, incoming text messages are free.** Multimedia messages cost a little more to send, but can be a fantastic way to share snapshots and voice greetings.

Your cellular provider "at home" may allow you to send messages to our phones in Israel. Please check with your cellular provider abroad for pricing.

Unfortunately, you can no longer send free messages to the Cellcom network via ICQ as of January 2010. We will update this page if another free method of texting Cellcom (including Talk'n'Save!) becomes available.

*Please note that 'kosher' phones have no text or multimedia messaging ability, and Alcaltel models only support text.
** Incoming text messages from paid data services (news headlines, sports scores and the like) do cost.
